In this British Union of Fascist publication, Oswald Mosley answers 100 questions on BUF policies, on a wide range of issues.
British Union was opposed to both Finance Capitalism (the private ownership of industry) and State Socialism (the state ownership of industry) and British Union proposed to reorganise the economic system along the lines of the Corporate State, in order to achieve control over the power of International Finance to dictate to government it’s economic policies.
British Union was also opposed to the multi-party system of government. Voting would be based on an occupational franchise, rather than a geographical basis, with miners voting for a choice of miner candidates, farm workers voting for agricultural candidates, doctors and nurses voting for medical candidates, in order to create a Government of “experts elected by experts”.
Other questions he answers include the Housing problem, Agriculture, the Banking system, the House of Lords, the Press, Freedom of Speech, the Trade Union movement, the role of Women, and dozens of other issues that remain as important today and are still unresolved.
